Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals

The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), is a new scholarship program which offers scholarships to a large number of graduates to pursue their master’s programmes at Swedish Universities.

The aim of the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals is to raise future global leaders that will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and impact positive and sustainable development in their home countries and region.

The SI scholarship is designed only for students in developing countries of Africa, Asia and Europe and they give out up to 350 scholarships annually. This scholarship is fully funded, it covers full tuition fees, living expenses of about $1,000 per month, insurance, and a one-time travel grant of $1,000 – $1500 (only for scholarship holders living outside Sweden).

The scholarship is planned for full-time one-year or two-year master’s programmes and it is only awarded for programmes starting in the autumn semester.

VLIR-UOS Masters Scholarships (ICP Connect) in Belgium

VLIR-UOS awards ICP Connect Master’s scholarships to international students from 29 developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. To study an English-taught Master’s programme at a Flemish university or university college in Belgium. In this program, 10 scholarships are being awarded for each Master’s programme. They are fully funded scholarship that covers tuition, travel costs, insurance and living expenses.

Fully funded masters scholarships for international students 2022

Below is the list of fully funded scholarships applicable to students around the world.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the USA

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is designed for graduate students, young professionals and artists from other countries. To study and carry out research in the United States at any U.S. university or academic institution. Fulbright receives applications from all fields, including interdisciplinary ones. They give out scholarships to about 4,000 international students each year from 155 different countries.

The Fullbright program is a fully funded scholarship program. It covers tuition, travel costs, living expenses and health insurance, etc. These funds will be provided for the duration of your study.

Clarendon Fund Scholarships at the University of Oxford

Clarendon Fund is a major postgraduate scholarship program at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, and they give out about 140 new scholarships every year. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential across all degree-bearing subjects at the postgraduate level at the University of Oxford.

All degree-bearing courses at the graduate level in any subject are eligible. This includes all full-time and part-time masters and all DPhil courses. You can check the list of all the graduate courses offered by the University of Oxford on the Courses page on their official website.

The Clarendon fund is open to all international students from any country and it is a fully funded program that covers tuition and college fees in full. Scholars in a full-time program are given a yearly grant for living costs – which is usually about £15,009.  Scholars on a part-time course receive a study support grant, to assist with non-fee costs. Part-time DPhil scholars are given about £2,502 and part-time Master’s scholars are given about £5,003.

University of Sydney International Scholarship

The University of Sydney International Scholarship is fully funded by the University of Sydney in Australia. They provide a yearly scholarship to excellent students who wish to study for a master’s by research or PhD. There is no fixed number of scholarships for 2022.  In the 2021 awards, the scholarship was valued at $35,629 per annum. This includes tuition fees and living costs.

The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES)

The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES) gives scholarships to extraordinarily talented students from outside Europe to pursue any Master’s Program offered at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This scholarship is only applicable to English-taught Masters Programme offered in the following faculties:

• Child Development and Education
• Communication
• Economics and Business
• Humanities
• Law
• Psychology
• Science
• Social Sciences

There is no specific number of scholarships that will be awarded and it is a fully funded program worth about €25,000 covering tuition and living expenses. The selection for this program is based on academic excellence and any non-European student from any country and institution who graduated among the top 10% of their class is eligible to apply.
